C A R B O N was founded in 2018 by M.Sc. Architect Serdar Bolposta and Civil Engineer İ. Serkan Cansever, after having worked together for the past 5 years, with each of them having a career of 20 years on project and building constructions.
C A R B O N provides architectural, engineering and project management services in different building types and scales with an approach that evaluates each project in its own way.
Processes in C A R B O N
Our product is a “building” or a “site”.
C A R B O N designs buildings and sites and constructs them according to their scope or manages construction processes. In our office, we practice a multi-disciplinary approach towards project and building production processes as it is required by the nature of our work.
C A R B O N office creates a virtual design with realistic models in the project design process, including the civil engineering occupation, in line with the demanded criteria. In other words, the structure (building) or site is constructed virtually, before leaving the C A R B O N office as a drawn project and actually physically being built.
After the project processes, according to the scope and customer demand, C A R B O N undertakes the design output with different business models, directly as a contractor or realizes it as a project manager within the construction process.
In all these endeavors, C A R B O N manages the processes, considering the communication and interaction of the construction with each stakeholder and its environment.
Our Team
Serdar Bolposta / M.Sc. Architect
He was born 1977 in Ankara. After graduating from Dokuz Eylül University in 1998 as an Architect, he completed his master's degree in Project Management at the same university in 2001. During this time, he was involved in short-termed academic pursuits that included publications in national and international scientific journals. Then he started his professional business life in private sector. Following a wide range of medium and large-scale construction implementations such as residential, commercial buildings, livestock structures, hotels, etc., he ended his corporate business life as a senior manager in the construction materials industry in 2013 and started providing architectural services based in Izmir under the name of SRD Architecture & PM. Then, with the decision to continue his architectural and project management efforts under a corporate structure, starting from 2013, he worked with Serkan Cansever as an engineering and implementation partner, then in 2018 they founded C A R B O N Inc. Co. He carries on his works currently under the roof of C A R B O N.
Serkan Cansever / Civil Engineer
He was born 1977 in İzmir. In 1999, he finished his bachelor degree in Celal Bayar University after he started professional life as a civil engineer. After working as a manager and project manager in construction sites of large-scale public and private buildings, he established a number of engineering projects in and around İzmir with his company Beyazyaka Construction and Engineering. After the contracting service in some public buildings in Izmir in 2013 and the housing investments in various districts of Izmir, he worked with Serdar Bolposta as an architectural partner. He founded C A R B O N Inc. Co. with Serdar Bolposta in 2018. Serkan Cansever continues to work under the roof of C A R B O N.
